Academic Resume

In line with all the transfer information we’ve been throwing at you, we thought it would also be a good idea to talk about the all important academic resume. Your academic resume is a way for you to summarize yourself when applying to school. It is meant to tell them more than your transcript can:
What makes you a great candidate?
        *  Did you win any awards?
        *  Are you a part of any organizations in, or out of, school?
        *  Are you balancing school and a job while maintaining a 3.5?
        *  Are there any special skills you have?
        *  What are your hobbies?
Believe it, or not, admissions officers care about these things just as much as they do about your grades, or the level of the classes you’re taking. It is becoming increasingly important that applicants are well rounded individuals capable of learning, expanding, multitasking, and being creative.
